Project Description
The Hart house is a family holiday house on the absolute beachfront at Middleton, south of Adelaide near the mouth of the River Murray and is currently being completed ready for the summer. It overlooks coastal sand hills and the surf of Southern Ocean rolling into the sandy Middleton Beach.
The lower floor has a family living area, three family bedrooms, a large bathroom, a guests’ suite and a laundry. The upper floor has a larger living/dining/kitchen area, owner’s suite, a protected outdoor living/ barbecue area, a separate balcony overlooking the sea and a two car garage. The house is of steel and timber framed construction clad externally with naturally weathering western red ceder. The Hart house is designed by Billson-Sawley architects, one of Adelaide’s leading architectural practices.
